Summary: The DXE Assembler 1 position is an entry level assembly and packaging position in the DX Engineering Manufacturing department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Packaging -Package various internal, external & Sellable production orders.
- Light Mechanical Assembly - Use various hand tools to complete light mechanical assemblies. (Examples include but are not limited to installing covers on finished electronic products, clamps and other components on coil subassemblies, and assembly of antenna components for shipment.)
- Record Keeping – Maintain accurate time keeping records as well as various inspection and other documentation
- Preventative Maintenance - Maintain & operate packaging equipment including but not limited to heat sealers, air staplers, tape dispensers, and label printers
- Cable and Wire Picking – Process stocking & custom cable production orders, using both automated and manual equipment
- Restock/Put-away – Perform re-stock & put-away duties for department packaging materials
- Other Duties as Assigned - Perform other duties as assigned which may include assisting other departments or employees
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
