We are looking to hire two energetic people passionate about working with dogs while enjoying the great outdoors to join our growing team of animal lovers!

Dog walkers and petsitter needed for our busy Holiday Season!

We are a Dog walking, pet sitting and dog training business that offers in home pet sitting, one on one dog walks, group walks, overnight sleepovers in clients homes, and private training consultations.

Our emphasis is on the use of 100% science-based positive reinforcement methods.

Pawsitive play is where training and playtime meet to create an exceptional experience for people and the dogs they love!

We are looking to immediately fill two part time positions, approximately 10-20 hours per week.

PART TIME

Starting pay $15-$16 per hour

***EXPERIENCE WITH DOGS PREFERRED***

Preference will be given to those that have professional experience with animals. Primarily those that have experience in pet care role, veterinary assistant, or kennel technician and/or supervisory experience of teammates in a retail or service industry.

We are looking for someone with a passion for pets, interested in helping dogs learn important skills, who need extra support and someone who is also interested in the fascinating world of animal behavior.

The right candidate:

• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Must be reliable and hard working, with a desire to work in a professional, positive, fast-paced, team-based environment
• Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather
• Must be self motivated and be able to work as a team as well as independently
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
• Must demonstrate a high level of interest in the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• MUST have a love of pets and experience with dogs
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to manage time and prioritize
• Ability to problem solve
• Must have Good communication skills

This person will be responsible for:

• Walking dogs around the neighborhood
• Walking with multiple dogs on local trails and other team members
• helping with pick up and dropping off dogs for adventure walks
• Single or multiple stops for both dogs and cats with the occasional small animal.
• They will also be responsible for taking photos of the pets having fun and sending an update on how the pets visit went.
• Cleaning up after dogs
• Along with other important duties to manage the care of our clients
• Occasional sleepovers in clients homes
