DESCRIPTION

Are you a seasoned Human Resources professional who is mission-driven and really wants to make a

NET Ministries, an organization that challenges young Catholics, through relational ministry, to follow
Christ and embrace a life of community in the Church, is hiring a Director of Human Resources. This
role will recruit talent, ensure competitive compensation, create strategies for retention, and develop
employment policies that create a safe and productive workplace. The Director of HR is also included in
daily team meetings which support and pray for the critical mission of the organization.
Responsibilities will include:
 Overseeing NET staff recruitment and hiring strategy, including working efficiently with hiring
supervisors, designing the interview processes, supporting proactive recruitment, and serving on
interview committees.
 Offering employment and negotiating benefits, overseeing all paperwork and training, and
managing all employee vacation/sick leave records and preparing for audits.
 Administering performance management system, directing disciplinary needs of employees, and
working with the Director of Finance to administer employee benefits and ensure compliance.
 Developing and managing annual plan and budget for HR needs.
 Managing facilitation and coaching activities to support individual, group, and/or organizational
needs.
 Acting as the Safe Environment Officer, which includes: Ensuring all employees, NET teams and
volunteers are cleared to work with young people, communicating with all persons needing Safe
Environment verification, ensuring NET Center is a safe environment, and developing and
maintaining relations with professional resources in a Safe Environment arena.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have:
 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Master’s Degree is preferred.
 Minimum of 5-7 years of HR Generalist experience.
 Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others toward a clear and
common set of goals.
 A strong Christian; a mission-oriented practicing Catholic is preferred.
 Bi-lingual/Spanish fluency is preferred
