Job description

Responsible for greeting customers, answering the phone with enthusiasm, and creating work orders for every customer. This position will provide every customer with an excellent customer service experience, as well as, provide pertinent information to store technicians and managers about each customer and repair service.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Greet every customer with a warm smile and uBreakiFix greeting.
  • Empathize with the customer about their broken device.
  • Facilitate all repair check-ins and pickups.
  • Creates quality work orders, ensuring proper notes, expectations, parts etc are entered into the work order.
  • Accurately quote repair needed if readily apparent; perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting if needed. Check device in for free diagnostics if necessary.
  • Manage the Same Day repair queue, staying in communication with the Single Day Tech to ensure quote times provided are reasonable.
  • Communicate with the manager on duty regarding “Need to Order” work orders being created to ensure they are aware.
  • Answer lobby customer questions.
  • Update all lobby customers on the status of their repair on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Drives accessory, Asurion Home+, and other sales by engaging with all customers before and after their repair to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure lobby stays clean and presentable as well as ensuring the accessory wall is fully stocked during the entirety of shift. This includes cleaning windows, tables, cash wrap, floors, emptying trash cans, etc - multiple times a day if needed. Spot cleaning is usually required.
  • Respond to emails and repair quotes (Leads) in Portal unless otherwise assigned.
  • First to answer incoming phone calls.
  • Makes follow up phone calls with customers regarding their repair (ready for pickup, general questions, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
