Key Objective(s):

The main purpose of the Creative Director, Advertising is:

· To express the American Dream brand through a variety of marketing touchpoints and formats including TV, radio, OOH, digital, social and B to B sales.

· Develop and execute creative ideas that add to the strategic vision and direction of American Dream.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the VP, Marketing to develop and produce innovative content for marketing messaging, company branding, seasonal / promotional campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Spearhead the development of a brand strategy and positioning for American Dream and lead the development of marketing collateral that reflects the updated brand.
  • Liaison with VP, Creative Director to stay aligned on in-center marketing needs and direction to ensure the expression of the AD brand is consistent.
  • Oversee social media creative execution and manage social creative team members.
  • Partner with Sales and Leasing teams to develop specific marketing collateral that supports their business-to-business efforts.
  • Partner with Director, Consumer Advertising to develop targeted marketing campaigns that connect with appropriate audiences and support media placements.
  • Evaluate trends, assess new data, and keep up to date with current traditional, digital and social media techniques.
  • Direct brainstorm meetings and creative sessions with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Supervise external agencies and vendors to ensure creative execution meets American Dream’s standards and expectations.
  • Update Brand Book and Style Guide as needed to keep brand relevant.
  • Supervise the team’s daily workflow, assign projects, and monitor deadlines and budgets.
  • Oversee production and creative of photo shoots and video shoots as needed.
  • Develop well-crafted copy in the voice of the brand.
  • Lead and mentor direct report(s).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ relevant experience in creative development, execution and management for multi-platform brands
  • Experience in copy writing, video production and editing
  • A solid understanding of design fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously
  • Must provide a creative reel and/or portfolio upon application

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
