Continuous Improvement Engineer/Lean Trainer
Location: Somerset, New Jersey

Purpose

Your Responsibilities

  • You will carry out national and international optimization and transformation projects based on lean principles, focusing on indirect areas such as people and culture, finance, services and support processes.
  • You are also responsible for the development and implementation of workshops and training courses at all hierarchical levels.
  • You are responsible for the implementation of local, regional and global lean projects in all areas (manufacturing, supply chain management, administration).
  • Your tasks will also include the qualification and coaching of local lean multipliers, employees and managers.
  • You will carry out and support lean assessments at the various locations of the Ivoclar group.
  • In addition, you will create roadmaps and workshop concepts independently and define guidelines and standards together with the global lean team.

Your Qualifications

  • You have gained initial experience in optimizing processes and have a professional demeanor and communicative nature.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge or experience in the field of lean and project management.
  • You have a university degree or comparable professional work experience or training.
  • You have a strong consultant personality with very good analytical skills and enjoy a steep learning curve.
  • You are a logical, process-oriented thinker.
  • You have excellent communication skills - Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese or other languages a plus.
  • You have a willingness to travel up to 30%.

Physical Demands


Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation. Frequently required to stand, move about inside the office area and throughout the manufacturing areas. Frequently communicates with employees of all levels.
