O’Neal Construction, LLC is looking for an Office Manager to join our team. Our office manager is responsible for the financial and accounting functions of the company and affiliated entities controlled by the owner. We are seeking an individual that would add their skills, talents and abilities to aid in promoting a positive and proactive office environment. Prior construction industry experience is preferred and will report directly to the CEO of the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations including AP / AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management
  • Review accounts receivable, aging reports and assist with direct reports for collections
  • Process payments to vendors and subcontractors and confirm lien waivers are properly collected
  • Develop and maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting
  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and submission of progress billings
  • Manage budgets to ensure fiscal health and responsibility
  • Review budgets, forecasting and project financial analysis
  • General Ledger
  • Oversee the monthly job cost reporting process with the project managers for use in creating and updating contract schedules and updating work in progress reports for internal and external use
  • Review and monitor the preparation of weekly payroll.
  • Produce monthly financial statements generated by the company software
  • Maintain state registrations, business and tax licenses, etc.
  • Construction based software experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
