Resource Recovery Center of Orange County provides medically supervised withdrawal management and inpatient rehabilitation services in Middletown, NY. We are seeking a Compliance Specialist that is experienced working with multiple oversite agencies, developing corrective actions, conducting internal investigations, completing audits of regulatory and internal quality indicators, and compiling the data and reports associated. Our ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented, has excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong organization skills, functions well with an interdisciplinary team and completes tasks in a timely manner.

Salary Range: $52K - $62K

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that services are being provided in compliance with oversite agencies including NYS OASAS and The Joint Commission.
• Audit, review and monitor regulatory compliance through audits of documentation, policy/procedure development and investigations.
• Maintain Compliance and Quality Assurance documentation to be reviewed in monthly meetings.
• Lead the Incident Review process for internal and external investigations.
• Provide leadership with a comprehensive review of compliance issues within the facility.
• Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
• Develops, implements, and oversees monitoring of corrective action plans.
• Ensures corrective actions plans are in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Act as liaison to oversite agencies during audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Other duties as designated by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree - Master’s degree preferred
• Qualified Health Professional - QHP
• Two (2) years of experience working in an OASAS setting. 816/818 preferred.
• Experience with 816/818 OASAS regulations.
• Experience using electronic medical records systems
• Strong written, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Thorough investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing and developing compliance monitoring programs.
• Proficient Computer skills
