KlearNow empowers importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and supply chain partners by providing new levels of visibility and productivity to reduce costs and create enhanced customer experiences

Over and above the core customs clearance solution, KlearNow is also providing consolidated freight visibility, data and document management and intra-port activity for efficient Drayage.

We are headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, California with locations in India, Canada, UK, Spain and Netherlands. This year we will be expanding to multiple countries.

Be a part of our Compliance team. Provide day-to-day support with operations including, but not limited to, Importer Security Filing, data validation, and various analytics.

Responsibilities

· Assist with timely oversight and monitoring of live shipment transactions including use of proprietary technology to automate data ingestion and compliance filings

· Collaborate with business partners to troubleshoot production issues as they arise

· Support Compliance organization with special projects

· Contribute to cross-functional initiatives upon request

· Other duties may arise through the normal course of business

Required Qualifications

· 1-2 years of customs brokerage, trade compliance, and/or logistics provider experience

· Knowledge of basic import compliance concepts such as shipping and commercial documentation, Incoterms, and the Harmonized Tariff System

· Primary working hours that follow Eastern Time with flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and clients in different time zones including over weekends

· Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and proclivity for continuous improvement

· A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

· Team player, critical thinker, and master problem-solver

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

· Motivated to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience

· Experience with CBP, CBSA, HMRC, or other government agency filings

· Foreign language skills a plus
