Position Overview:
Under the general direction of the Director, is responsible for keeping all records relating to the Coca-Cola Company’s permanent archival collection and objects left in its care.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

• Carries out registration of the Coca-Cola Company’s permanent archival collection, acquisitions, and gifts, and is responsible for deaccessioning assets from the collection.
• Controls on approval, all aspects of incoming and outgoing loans to and from the permanent collection, in collaboration with the archives staff, the Director and the Fine Arts Manager or a conservator when applicable.
• Is responsible for documentation and maintenance of permanent records of the archival collection, digital and analog.
• Organizes and coordinates the shipping, receiving, packing, and unpacking of assets; corresponds with appropriate partners regarding expenses, arrangements, etc.; records and reports on condition of assets for traveling exhibitions and internal and external loans.
• Maintains liaison with other departments and vendors as needed, including insurance companies, fine art shippers, object handlers, mount makers, customs agents, etc.
• Records and maintains files and records regarding accessions, past exhibitions and loans, condition, treatment, and location (permanent, current and previous) of assets in the permanent collection and those assets on loan to the Coca-Cola Company.
• Confirms and updates copyright assignment for assets in the permanent collection
• Is responsible for exhibition development, coordination and installation/deinstallation of assets as necessary.
• Completes annual audit/inventory control of collection pursuant with department and company policies
• Monitors, documents and assigns condition assessment to assets, creates prioritized recommendations for conservation
• Performs related duties as required
• Supervises interns

Education Requirements:
Master's degree in Archival Studies, Library Science, Museum Studies or related field.

Related Work Experience:

• At least 5 years of related experience
• Demonstrated expertise in care, transportation, and record-keeping of artifacts and fine art.
• Corporate archives experience
