Bayberry Commons, located in picturesque Burrillville, specialize in Sub-Acute rehabilitation, Long-Term Care and a secure Memory Care Community. We offer unique programs for our residents including Music & Memory, Entertainment and a new Horticulture program.

Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA Qualification Requirements:

  • Must have a current, active Rhode Island Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA License in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
  • We are willing to train new Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • The ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • The ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel and the general public
  • Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as a willingness to handle difficult situations
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA) and residents rights
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, team members and visitors

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance in completing activities of daily living with patients, including bathing, grooming, eating and re-positioning as delegated by the Charge Nurse.
  • Provide support for other activities such as measuring and recording vital signs.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA must have good organizational skills, the ability to observe and report patient/resident status and implement the plan of care
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities
  • Document correctly, timely, accurate and competent manner

  • * Vacation Days – Earn percentage of hours worked in previous year available after first anniversary Personal Day – A day off of your choice with pay – Sick Days – Accrue percentage of hours paid in previous week, half of any unused sick hours paid out upon anniversary – additional compensation when asked to stay in an emergency
