Employee Services has the immediate need for a full time skilled Behavioral Health Clinician licensed in the state of Florida. This hybrid position will provide counseling and case management for our EAP members who call for immediate support and face to face support at our Ft. Myers, FL location as needed. Primary responsibilities include conducting a telephonic triage, assessment, providing in the moment support and coordinating resources. This position is a hybrid position and the successful candidate must have the ability to work in our Ft. Myers, FL office as needed.

Master’s degree is the minimum academic requirement. Must have a current Behavioral Health Clinician license in the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Conducts telephonic triage and assessment, providing in the moment support to members on issues, including but not limited to: behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life, and coordinates resources.
• Coordinates and completes case management of intakes.
• Makes clinical determinations in adherence with Company risk policy and in the member and Company’s best interest.
• Provides referrals to service provider network and/or other resources as appropriate for financial concerns, legal concerns, personal assistant, and work-life requests.
• As assigned, provides face to face and telehealth intake assessments triage, coaching, brief solution-focused counseling to members on issues, including but not limited to: behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life issues.
• Consults with service providers to make referrals and complete session authorizations. Follows cases to completion.
• Utilizes computer-based case management system to complete professional documentation
• Consults with Human Resources and supervisory personnel from client companies regarding employee issues and concerns
• Maintains industry knowledge, ethical code, and Behavioral Health Clinician licensure in the state of Florida.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)

Behavioral Health Clinician licensure in the state of Florida

5 years of experience as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor or equivalent behavioral health clinical experience.
