Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for the implementation of clinical imaging strategies globally.
The Clinical Imaging Scientist role will help drive innovation in the clinical imaging space to support our portfolio of innovative drug candidates. The candidate will be expected to work with cross functional teams and support the translation and clinical development of novel imaging strategies for patient enrollment, safety assessment and response monitoring. The candidate will lead the collection and analysis of clinical imaging data done with external partners and will support the evaluation and adoption of novel image analysis tools to help streamline and accelerate decision making processes. There will be an emphasis on our Oncology portfolio, though imaging strategies are used in all our therapeutic areas.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design and implement multi-modality imaging strategies for evaluation of novel imaging agents as patient selection tools for therapeutic clinical studies.
  • Collaborate with non-clinical and translational teams to bring optimized clinical imaging assets into FIH evaluation.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure the optimal design, execution and validation of imaging strategies
  • Contribute to clinical biomarkers and diagnostics strategy by evaluating novel imaging modalities, novel image analysis tools and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Support the development of prototype radiomics and deep learning techniques for patient segmentation/stratification

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
Or
Master’s degree and 4 years of pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience in the utilization of molecular imaging as a quantitative biomarker in clinical trials
  • Experience with development of clinical protocols, imaging study manuals and procedures, SOPs and other documentation involved with the execution of clinical imaging studies.
  • Deep understanding of image analysis of clinical datasets (preference for PET and SPECT data) including all steps of processing and dosimetry calculations
  • Experience with presentation of results and reporting to clinical teams which rely on the information for clinical decision making.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML-driven image analysis methods. Understanding of the basic requirement for evaluating and developing such methods.
