Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Assistant:
- Observe, escort, and monitor patients; report observations to the Registered Nurse
- Provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure, and clean environment
- Engages patients in and role models positive, recovery-oriented behaviors.
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant credential required.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Must successfully complete CPR and Service excellence within 90 days of employment and recertify at the required intervals.
- Must successfully complete Handle with Care before being assigned patient care and recertify at the required intervals.
- May be asked to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
