Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health facility in Portland, Oregon dedicating to healing our patients’ minds and bodies through a combination of high-quality clinical services and holistic healing practices.
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants($18.50 - $24.67 DOE plus shift differential) with an interest or background in behavioral health to join our team and to support our patients in one of our specialty care programs:
- Inpatient:
- Crisis Stabilization
- Mental Health
- Substance Abuse
- The Military Program
- Co-Occurring Disorders
Job Duties
The Certified Nursing Assistant:
· Provides basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
· Assists patients with activities of daily living
· Assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure, and clean environment
· Engages patients in and role models positive, recovery-oriented behaviors.
Qualifications:
· Active, unencumbered CNA license recognized by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
· Knowledge of approved techniques to assist patients with ambulation and self-care
· Must be able to read, understand, and follow policies, procedures, and written treatment plans
· Prior behavioral health experience a plus but not required.
