The CNA maintains the workflow of patient care while using knowledge of medical terms, procedures, and applications. This interdependent role offers a combination of clerical and direct patient care duties. Our goal for this position is to assist in keeping our clinic running smoothly to ensure that each patient receives the care they need.

Our CNA’s:

• Enter paperwork into EPIC system
• Perform vision and hearing screenings
• Pre-chart for virtual visits
• Room patients, take vitals, and complete patient forms
• Measure and record height, weight, and food and fluid intake and output
• Schedule appointments and answer patient calls
• Clean and stock patient rooms with needed supplies and maintain general office standards
• Help with Medical Assistant duties
• Must be willing to travel. We have 4 PNW clinics – Federal Way, Gig Harbor, and 2 in Tacoma.

Qualifications – Minimum Requirements

• Education – High School Diploma/GED
• Licensure – Current Washington state CNA license; CPR certification
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Clerical/front office experience
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and procedures
• Comprehension of medical terminology
• Ability to identify deviations from normal body functions
• Knowledgeable in transmission of bloodborne pathogens and how disease-causing microorganisms are spread

Schedule:

• Full-time, 5 days a week and 8-hour days. 8 am - 4:30 pm. No nights, limited weekend hours, and closed for major holidays. This position will be in the weekend rotation, working approximately 1 Saturday or Sunday (8 am – 1 pm) every 6-8 weeks.
