Overview:
The UW Credit Union Card Programs is adding a Card Operations Coordinator to our team! The Card Operations Coordinator serves as a system coordinator for internal and external applications that support Card Programs, with a focus on Debit Cards. They are responsible for the continual optimization of technology solutions with the goal of creating operational excellence, strengthening performance, and improving the member and/or user experience.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert to cross-functional areas including IS, IT, Deposit Operation, Loss Prevention & Marketing to help build and support sustainable change to Card Programs.
  • Review product and release manuals and partner with IT and other cross-functional departments to ensure releases are accurate and successful
  • Implement and communicate changes to ensure compliance with all state, federal & Visa rules or regulations by reviewing state, federal, vendor & industry communications
  • Research, develop, troubleshoot, configure & implement applicable technology solutions changes that support Card Programs
  • Create and maintain technical flow documentation for all processes supporting Card Programs functionality (file transmission, online messaging, instant issue, embossing, etc.)
  • Participate in, provide solutions to, and manage ongoing updates on annual audits
  • Maintain vendor accountability and foster positive relationships with Debit Card and ATM vendors
  • Support implementation of new products, systems, and procedures that support Card Programs through all delivery channels (i.e. Branch, online and Member Solutions Center)
  • Ensure quality assurance through inspection and testing of new systems and enhanced functionality, including the creation and maintenance of detailed testing scripts and plans
  • Influence the design of end-to-end cardholder experience (touch points, reactions, complaints, and compliments) that enhance product offerings and drives high member utilization
  • Provide reporting to Card Programs Leadership Team to support program goal setting, product development and other planning activities
  • Lead and/or coordinate custom data mining on specific topics and communicate key conclusions and recommendations that support key initiatives
  • Provide primary backup support to others as appropriate, fostering teamwork and quality
Qualifications:
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • Background in debit card and ATM processing or years of experience in a Cards Program department is preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of card related regulations, compliance, and industry standards
  • Experience in project execution with multiple initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong multi-tasking and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated decision-making and successful change management skills
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule as needed
