Busser

Status: Part time or Full time

Reports to: Front of House Managers

Responsible for: Assisting Servers and Bartenders on the floor with all Steps of Service in the dining area including assigned tables, service areas, the bar and expo pass

Technically

- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of all menu details and preparations as well as allergen information and possible modifications

- Able to describe food and drinks in an impressive manner

- Provides excellent hospitality to guests, table maintenance for setting, mising, bussing and cleaning tables including clearing many plates and utensils from a table in a graceful and efficient way

- Maintains a clean, safe and organized work space during prep, service and closing

- Participates in special events at the restaurant such as private parties or buy outs, which involve a different pace of service such as passed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres

- Loves the hospitality industry

- Demonstrates excellent communication skills with co-workers and guests

- Respectful of rules and guidelines and invested in contributing to a comfortable, inclusive work environment

- Contributes to a positive and proactive culture in the restaurant, and is able to balance hustle with grace and poise on the floor

- Eye for Detail and a Can-Do attitude

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

- Excellent Troubleshooting skills and ability to be charismatic under pressure

Physically

- Proven reliability and excellent attendance

- Scheduling availability that meets the needs of the restaurant

- Ability to be active on the floor for extended periods of time including late at night, weekends and holidays

- Ability to lift 25 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
