Bread Baker (LA Commissary)
We are seeking a baker with at least two years of experience in a wholesale/commercial bakery. The applicant will demonstrate a passion for bread, an inquisitive mind, and a keen eye for quality. You will be responsible for mixing the dough, managing fermentation, scaling and shaping, and baking while ensuring the end result is in line with Tartine standards. The position is 40 hours per week and paid hourly. Early morning shifts required. Two consecutive days off weekly. Competitive salary.

Activities & Responsibilities:

Activities & Responsibilities:
- Mixing dough, managing fermentation, scaling, shaping, and baking
- Ensuring all baked goods are ready on time
- Assist in building orders for delivery and confirming count accuracy
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation
- Assist in cleaning of production areas
- Conduct inventory checks as needed
- Assist packaging and slicing team as needed
- Adhere to all opening & closing protocols as instructed
- Pastry baking of cakes, pies, cookies does not apply
- Duties and responsibilities may change at any time
