Responsibilities included but are not limited to are:

• Excellent attendance expected.
• Hire, train, develop and motivate the service department staff and monitor their performance.
• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and ensure they are met.
• Develop and monitor budgets for the service department and keep dealership management informed of variances.
• Ensure that the service department meets all customer satisfaction (CSI) and financial goals.
• Ensure proper repair techniques are being used.
• Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service vehicles.
• Stay up to date on product changes and new products.
• Ensure that all necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition.
• Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven track record of success as a Service Manager in an automotive dealership – REQUIRED
• Ability to coach, train, and HAVE FUN while maintaining high performance expectations - REQUIRED
• ADP/CDK experience – Preferred

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid California driver's license is required. We are a drug free workplace. Requirements (included but not limited to):

• Three or more year’s Automotive Service Director/Management Experience.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Bilingual- a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Base plus incentives can be $12,000 – 18,000 per month.
