About the Organization and Position
Join a well-respected and established nonprofit organization in San Jose as a Therapist for their Asylee and Refugee Program. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care to a vulnerable and culturally diverse population through various mediums including intakes, individual and group counseling, treatment assessment, treatment planning, and case management. You'll have the support of a dedicated team and clinical supervision, as well as access to cutting-edge treatment and resources.

Responsibilities
- Provide culturally sensitive, client centered individual/group/family counseling/rehabilitation services
- Develop culturally relevant assessment and treatment plans
- Facilitate referral linkages to community resources and appropriate agencies, and perform case management services
- Document and maintain clinical records per appropriate standards and regulations
- Participate in clinical supervision, consultations and trainings
- Meet applicable productivity requirements
- Participate in on-call after hours rotation until credentialed to write holds
- Complete and maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide officer of the day support
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
- Registration with the BBS as an ASW, APCC or AMFT, LPCC, LMFT and LCSW preferred
- Two years or more of directly related experience working with refugee, survivors of torture and complex trauma survivors in a clinical setting
