SAGE Dining Services® has an immediate opportunity for a full-time interior designer in the Marketing Department in Lutherville, Maryland. You'll work with the Marketing Project Manager on interior design projects within the Hospitality/Education market sector, including serveries, kitchens, and dining rooms. You'll use your drawing expertise to conceptualize spaces for current and prospective clients. Considering function, aesthetics, and safety, you will prepare presentations of SAGE’s recommendations for interior layouts and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).

What you'll do:

  • Create 2D and 3D drawings/renderings of serveries and dining rooms for private schools and colleges.
  • Create 3D models of accessories and food items.
  • Interact with Sales and Operations Team to assemble the most efficient use of space to increase sales and manage traffic patterns.
  • Autonomous work assignments (organization or files and catalogs, reviewing editing and merging documents).

What you'll need:

  • Basic AutoCAD skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Background in Interior Design or a strong interest/sense of interiors.
  • Ability to layout, design, and accessorize interiors.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, creative problem solver and multi-tasker.
  • Strong graphic presentation skills would be a plus, but not required.
  • Desired skills include Vectorworks BIM software, Lumion rendering software, and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
