The Assistant Treatment Analyst will work with children who have autism and other developmental disabilities in a school setting, under the supervision of a licensed BCBA Clinician. The analyst will complete any needed BCBA supervision hours and gain more experience in the field, and may only perform appropriate support duties and functions not considered restricted to persons with BCBA certification.


Essential Functions:

  • Complete between 10 and 30 BCBA supervised hours each week. Under supervision, activities include:
    • Assist with behavioral/functional, educational and other (preference, reinforcement, etc.) assessments and evaluations.
    • Conduct parent training and consultation.
    • Create treatment plans based on data.
    • Update/revise treatment plans and programs based on data.
    • Collect and monitor data/complete progress notes, if needed.
    • Conduct staff training and monitor program integrity.
    • Assist in the intake process/acclimation to the program with new students/clients.
    • Program (behavioral and educational/skill acquisition) implementation.
    • Shadow in appropriate meetings for client care.
    • Provide quality care based on the BACB Ethics code.
    • Intervene with clients to implement behavioral interventions, including physical restraints and transporting.
    • Intervene with clients who may be exhibiting the behaviors of enuresis, encopresis, spitting, biting rumination, physical aggression, (to self, others, or environment), verbal assault, and running.
    • Contact with bodily fluids may occur and need to implement behavioral interventions, including physical restraint, lifting, and transporting.
    • Participate in designated training which may occur during unscheduled work time. Must be First Aid, CPR, and crisis intervention certified and maintain annual re-certification.
    • Successful completion of medical certification program. (i.e., medication dispensing, etc.)

All Network duties:

  • Provide coverage for staff within the program at various sites during periods of short staffing, inclement weather, emergency conditions, etc.
  • Provide coverage/support across the network including rescheduling and/or redeployment to other programs requiring assistance during emergency conditions.

Education, Experience and Special Skills:

  • Completion of BCBA coursework for certification/licensure in Rhode Island.
  • Completion of Master's degree consistent with BCBA requirements.
  • Experience preferred working with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
