Construction Assistant Project Manager - Shasta Industries


We are looking for a Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our Commercial & Olympic Division. The ideal candidate will have management experience and construction
experience.

The Construction Assistant Project Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating technical engineering efforts to ensure all C&O construction jobs are completed successfully, on schedule and within budget.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;


  • Conduct meetings with clients to clarify job details and meet specific technical requirements in a timely manner.

  • Provide detailed project schedule in cooperation with the Project Manager and Field Operations Manager.

  • Assist in the management of the permit process.

  • Track performance, manage budget and analyze job to maximize efficiencies.

  • Recognize, report, and solve problems in a creative, positive, and constructive way.

  • Make recommendations for improvement in systems, procedures, and policies.

  • Manages all documentation needed for the job and ensure it is processed on time.

  • Create scopes of work and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Communicate all job information to project team members.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with various level of individuals within the company.

  • Team-player and willingness to work closely with other individuals.

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and great attention to detail.

  • Willingness to learn and seek knowledge from others.

  • Familiarity with Construction Management software.

  • High proficiency with computers software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite or other related software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience in construction pool industry required.

  • Experience and understanding of local and national codes and standards.
