- 40% REMOTE (2 days/week)
- 60% IN PERSON AT MATTITUCK, NY 11952 OFFICE (3 days/week)

We are seeking an Architectural Designer to join our team! This position is an opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career. You will participate as a team member in the technical development of schematic, design development, and construction documents. The candidate should have working knowledge of relevant building codes and standards and be able to work closely and communicate with our architecture staff and consultants.
This position requires the candidate to work on a project team. Candidate must be proficient in both oral and written communication, be able to read and interpret construction drawings, prepare accurate detailed drawings from data obtained from field surveys, operate a computer using AutoCAD, develop drawings for architecture projects, and comply with company drafting standards for drawing preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Complete field surveys to record the existing conditions of new projects.
- Draft of 1-4 family wood framed residential homes based off initial measurements and photos.
- Collaborate with the principal architect to develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Daily correspondence with team to provide updates on status of all current projects.
Qualifications:
- [REQUIRED] 4-5 year degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited architecture program.
- 2-5 years experience in the field of architecture, preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
