This is a part-time position with Vernon Regional Adult-Based Education, based at our Rockville High School site in Vernon, CT.

The current schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-8:00 p.m., though the days and time are subject to change. The course of study is 12 weeks long.
This position is for our Pre-Apprenticeship Manufacturing program, and consists of 3 distinct classes: Mathematics for Manufacturing, Workforce Preparation and Introduction to Plastic Injection Molding. Each class is approximately 75 minutes in length, though the schedule is variable depending on availability of instructional offerings and online courses. The class is limited to 8 students. Prior to classroom instruction, students are transported to our manufacturing partner in Ellington or Somers. Upon return to RHS, students particapte in the classroom learning. During the classroom learning, students are provided dinner. Instruction is a hybrid of remote learning and in-person instruction, though the practical portion at our manufacturing partner's facility is require to be in-person. Students completing the program are eligible for up to 192 hours credit towards their Apprenticeship requirement for Injection Molding Technician (Plastic) or Injection Molding Setter (Plastic) Apprenticeships.
