Job Summary/Overview
Metrology is a great place to work with a friendly environment. Metrology is to provide support to the fab with accurate and precise measurement data.

This open position is for a E2/Senior Inspection Applications Engineer, specifically focusing on defect detection, engineering analysis, troubleshooting/resolving issues daily in a factory environment, providing strong customer service to internal and external customers, decision making, daily tool health monitoring, automating routine tasks, improving BKMs (best known methods) and recipe setup for new & old devices. Candidate must be able to run Design of Experiment (DoE) and analyze the data to achieve the best solution.
The Inspection team provides most of the critical inspection data for device performance, yield, and quality, so candidate contribution will be counted on at every step.

Specific Job Duties
- Defect recipe developer for KLA Puma and Discovery Inspection tool set (P3/P5/D5/D6/D30).
- Produce new/engineering recipes development and optimization for both lines S1 & S2.
- Technical presentations for information sharing and cultivation.
- Interface with Defect Engineering, Process Integration, failure analysis, manufacturing, and other unit part engineering departments for metrology related items.
- Documentation of work details after the work is done in a timely manner.
- Maintain tool-to-tool matching (TTTM) and tool health monitoring and changing point management CPM).
- Daily monitoring of daily qualification key metrics including products trend and respond to internal customers' highlights and concern promptly.
- Troubleshooting recipe/tool related issues with equipment team to isolate root causes lead to solution.
- Recipe setup for new devices using the Metrology Guide and auditing to ensure matching process flow, latest BKM and golden parameters.
- Troubleshooting with factory automation team, data collection, and lot track-out issues.
- Work with multiple discipline metrology engineers on multiple cross-functional projects
- Worked on advanced assignments with minimal to no supervision
- Provides guidance to non-exempt and exempt personnel.
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
- Minimum Four-year Bachelor's degree in related field (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry).
- 5+ year experience in semiconductor required.
- 5+ year experience with Concentration Tools required.
- Experience with MacroRS-VR300DS, microRSP-A300, MetaPulse, ThermalWave and XPS systems will be preferred
