AKIRA Warehouse Associate

AKIRA is looking to hire associates to help our Distribution Center!

Are you a fast-paced, detail oriented, and collaborative individual who thrives on delivering results? Then this may be the position for you! AKIRA is a Chicago-based Women's Fast Fashion Retailer with 30+ stores across the U.S. with a strong e-commerce presence. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and ready-to-learn Inventory Processor(s).

Job Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Salary: $17.00 - $18.50

Shifts:

Tuesday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm, $17.00

Tuesday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm, $17.00

Saturday-Monday, 6:00am-6:30pm, $18.50

Responsibilities may include:

• Safely operate in a warehouse environment
• Perform warehouse duties such as receiving, processing, picking, packing, shipping
• Work efficiently as part of a team
• Be able to receive and give feedback effectively
• Follow work instructions
• Operate scanners/computers related to warehouse operations
• Stand/walk 8-12 hours a day
• All other responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Ability to push, pull and lift 50lbs. continuously throughout the shift
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Solid understanding of safety regulations
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Keen eye for detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
