The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the front-end portion of the order process. This includes pre-sales activities such as special pricing for large orders and end of lease quotes.

The role of the sales support team is to help facilitate the administrative functions of the sales team and process new orders from the sales team. The function of the team is not to replace the natural administrative functions of a sales professional, but to connect the sales team with the resources, both internal and external, needed to successfully serve our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between sales and other internal parties for special pricing requests, contract questions, and billing questions.
  • Provide end of lease quotes to sales professionals for expiring leases.
  • Work with leasing partners to gain lease approvals for new clients.
  • Review paperwork for new orders ensuring that we have everything that is needed.
  • Work with sales professionals on any paperwork corrections needed, setting expectations on what is needed for orders and delays that will happen without the needed documents.
  • Accurately enter new orders into our ERP system.
  • Review commission entries to ensure that they match the submitted paperwork.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with assigned sales professionals to ensure open lines of communication.
  • Handle incoming requests from sales professionals, ensuring that they are acknowledged and answered in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests going both directions with sales professionals on a regular basis.

Desired Skills and Qualification:

  • Associates degree in business, accounting or finance preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Relevant experience preferred but not required
  • High attention to detail
  • Able and willing to support group decisions and put group goals ahead of own goals
  • Demonstrate active listening and critical thinking skills
