Family owned and operated (in business 50 years!), Hellas is a local favorite and must go to for tourists! We are located right off the beautiful Sponge Docks. We are wanting to add an Experienced Administrative Assistant to our amazing Administration Team!

Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-volume environment.

Full time position (Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm)

Summary: Administrative Assistant will work with Sales, HR, and Accounting. Will perform receptionist duties, filing, data entry and some purchasing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following:

  • Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls as needed (order supplies, parts or ingredients for example)
  • Create and maintain on ongoing spreadsheet to assist HR in new hire needs
  • Create a machine binder (list of machines and any information pertaining to them)
  • Create and maintain a vendor booklet
  • Data entry for miscellaneous projects as needed
  • Assist Sales as needed which may include creating sales orders, bill of ladings and invoices.
  • Performs a variety of administrative tasks such as filing, organizing and keeping calendars

Skills:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees.
  • Professional phone skills
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus!
  • Must possess the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of 1year experience in an administrative position with reception
  • Diploma or equivalent preferred
