Job Description Summary

The Workplace Project Manager is responsible for delivering successful change and relocation projects for MovePlan’s fast growing list of clients that span financial services, media and technology, pharma & healthcare, education, and public services. You will work for startups through to high growth businesses and multinationals, often across multiple borders.


Your role will include, but not be limited to:


  • Coordinating, managing and delivering workplace transition projects for MovePlan’s clients
  • Communicating to all stakeholders, including employees, on all aspects of the project to ensure it is clearly conveyed, seamlessly implemented and successfully adopted
  • Monitoring resource levels and expenses on each project against budget
  • Supporting, maintaining and demonstrating the MovePlan culture at all times, acting as an ambassador of the Company and understanding the role of consultant within the client workplace
  • Attending business development activities as necessary including, but not limited to, bid presentations, networking meetings and industry events

General

  • The Workplace Project Manager will be predominantly based on the client’s premises - which could be in a variety of locations - and is a MovePlan ambassador on-site
  • You must be flexible, self-motivated and able to work with new teams and establish strong client relationships
  • You must be able to work occasional nights and weekends when moves are in progress

Skills - Essential.

You should:


  • Have excellent communication and client relations skills
  • Be highly organised
  • Deliver high quality written communications
  • Have a keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in your working attitude
  • Have a passion for working within and among teams, and be able to do this effectively
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Have a willingness to travel, and want to engage with multiple clients in various sectors

Skills - Desirable.

It would be favourable for you to:


  • Have an aptitude for creative and innovative thinking/be solutions-oriented
  • Have workplace strategy and/or organisational change management experience
  • Demonstrate project management skills, including effective organisation and time management
  • Have leadership experience and the drive to take the initiative
  • Have experience in leading culture change
  • Have Change or Project management certification
  • Have space planning, occupancy, or design background
