Position Summary: Perform a variety of specialized and analytical duties involved in Workers Compensation claims for patients and employees.
Essential Job Functions: Monitor, coordinate and process Workers Compensation claims Receive and review claim forms; provide forms to patients and providers Assist in providing patients adequate information regarding claims and next steps in healthcare process; Collaborate with medical providers and staff to effectively track visits for workers comp patients.
Qualifications: 2 years of experience in customer service or related role Experience in Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel Ten-key experience and keyboarding skills Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others Ability to demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills Prior healthcare experience would be a definite plus
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
