The expected ENTRY pay range is $77,480 to $103,168 annually, based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. About the Position
Maricopa County has recently deployed a new HRIS system that will transform the way HR operates! The Workday HCM Developer will be the lead architect of the Workday interfaces, configuration, and general technical support for the Workday platform. The individual will play a crucial role in crafting the future benefits of the integration experience for Maricopa County. A typical day for this role will include attending design sessions, configuring business processes, developing integrations, testing system functionality, and general release coordination. This role will work closely with the HR team to advise and ensure that we are achieving their goals while helping them improve their processes, and integrations. This role will also be involved with multiple other areas of the system to ensure how upstream and downstream changes affect the platform.

We Require
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Three years of HCM system administration, support, configuration, integration development, or related experience
  • Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and core connectors
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education or experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Job Contributions
  • Lead the design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and core connectors.
  • Lead project initiatives, which incorporate Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies
  • Partner with the business on the best long-term solution for process and data integration opportunities
  • Write, execute, and document unit testing
  • Develop, modify, and monitor all benefits integrations to ensure all connections work correctly and issues are resolved
  • Make recommendations or system changes to prevent future re-occurrence of errors
  • Coordinate implementation of new releases, updates, fixes, and upgrades with the HRIS team
  • Create and modify reports and analytics for the HR team that surfaces issues, KPIs, and other metrics that support the functional area
  • Gather user requirements, solution design, pre-configure, and coordinate user’s tests, and implement modifications to Workday’s modules
