The WIC Eligibility Worker is responsible for determining WIC eligibility, providing nutrition education and performing case management on resource referrals for WIC clients. This person must do all activities in accordance with state and federal guidelines.@chaindeed
Minimally a high school diploma or GED with some college preferred. Must complete the following courses and obtain certifications within three years of hire: 1) Nevada State WIC Certified Professional Authority course, exam and certificate, 2) Office Laboratory Assistant training and certificate and 3) Certified Lactation Educator course and certificate. Experience in the social service, public health or medical field highly desirable. Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
