Welder

Pay – Dependent upon experience

We are looking for a experienced Welder to execute all types of weld projects, from simple activities to more complex plans and designs. The Welder will have responsibilities that include working closely with the Director of Operations to complete various production projects in a metal manufacturing environment. This position will do production welding and participate in setting up weld stations, designing weld fixtures, implementing production and process-oriented improvements.

Responsibilities

• Experience in welding MIG. Able to set machines and assist other welders as needed. Also looking for TIG experience; not necessary but certainly a benefit.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, prints and reports
• Ability to read weld prints.
• Efficiently process and complete projects within a production environment
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting of quality assurance tests and measurements.
• Participate with team in designing tooling and fixtures

• Coordinate and perform prototype building with manufacturing personnel
• Maintain effective communication across teams within the organization
• Learn and know the organization and its products

Skills

• Experience within a metal working environment is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication abilities and data entry skills are essential
• Research skills beneficial to troubleshoot unique issues and problems
• High attention to detail, and organization skills are essential
• Ability to break projects into doable actions and set time frames
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
