Duties:
- Weld structural members with consistent quality and safe work practices by understanding and following layouts, blueprints, and work orders.
- Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete assignment
- Maintain a safe and clean work station
- Travel to job sites in southern Maine as needed with company vehicle and welding machine
- Identify and use various types of welding tools, wires, and machines.
Requirements:
- Exhibit skill in measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- 5+ years of experience in welding, including the following: GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, TIG, Carbon arc gouging.
- Knowledgeable in the safe use of bench and hand-held grinders, bandsaws, and other fabrication related equipment and tools.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency when working on time sensitive projects.
- Able to work with limited supervision.
- Good listener who can follow direction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
