Responsibilities
- Assists physician and nurse in administration of the weight management program according to clinic policy and procedures.
- Is the subject matter expert on the weight loss program.
- Accurately records information on patients.
- Attentively listens to patient’s complaints and incorporates them into the record.
- Calls attention of physician and/or nurse to special needs of patient.
- Provides educational presentations to groups of patients and individual patients.
- Provides support and encouragement to patients.
- Schedules patient appointments for the weight loss program.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma required.
Experience: No experience required. Nutrition and/or healthcare experience preferred.
