Position Summary
Under general supervision, picks and/or packs customer orders from called out locations.
Essential Job Functions
- Fills customer orders from stock using a tablet or computer in a timely, accurate manner and reviews items for final quality.
- Maintains a 98% picking accuracy and shows the ability to score 100 points in a picking score.
- Must be diligent and neat in work habits and understands the importance of customer satisfaction.
- Properly packaging all product, including the following:
oPerforming all special packaging requirements dictated by customer.
oAnalyze customer order to ensure proper packaging will eliminate damage to shipment.
oReview each order to determine most efficient and economical approach to packaging.
- Must be able to enter data into computer on occasion.
- Participates in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Position Summary
Under general supervision, assembles and packages a variety of products including magnets, memo boards, pennants, license plate frames, decals, domed decals, rain gauges, key rings, and penciles, etc., to customer specifications.
Essential Job Functions
- Reads and follows specific instructions given on shop packets. Coordinates needed materials to produce order.
- Assembles a wide range of products i.e., jewelry pin cases, clocks, carding pennants, attach magnets to memo boards, apply domed decals to hockey pucks or key rings, apply holograms and UPC stickers to products, etc.
- Packages various items according to special packaging instructions, i.e., clamshells.
- Operates shrink wrap machine paying close attention to quality and detail.
- Perform routine housekeeping.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
High school graduate or its equivalent.- Basic computer knowledge.
- High attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Data entry skills.
- Ability to read and work with numbers.
- Requires close attention to detail.
- Average dexterity and good hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand assembly tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to read shop packets and inspect material and finished products for defects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Able to stand for entire shift
- Comfortable using a ladder occasionally
- Able to twist and bend
