DEL-AIR is a rapidly growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Ft. Myers, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Apollo Beach.

Del-Air is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible of managing the receiving, storing, staging, and distribution of equipment within the warehouse. Also, this role will over see the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

• Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as vehicle loading, records control, and purchasing.
• Formulates Standards of Operation for activities that occur within the Warehouse environment with focus on the needs of Internal and External customers of the Company.
• Maintains a storage and placement environment within the warehouse that maximizes the efficiency, productivity and security of, equipment and inventory management.
• Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as vehicle loading, records control, and purchasing.
• Maintains receiving and shipping practices such that record keeping and notifications to Managers and Accounting Departments occurs within Company policy.
• Develops and personally trains those staff members assigned to their location.
• Performs periodic Performance Evaluations of Staff as defined by Company policy.
• Participates in planning personnel safety activities.
• Maintains an effective security system for storing, requisition and disbursement and loading of equipment, materials and inventory.
• Evaluates costs associated and allocated to Warehouse operations and structures staffing and activities such that costs are maintained to defined levels of expectation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of warehouse experience (shipping & receiving of materials/trucks, pulling orders, stocking, and organizing of stocks along with cycle mounts).
• Forklift certified, preferred.
• Be hardworking, reliable, and able to multi-task.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Be able to work flexible hours.
• Have obtained a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
• Eligible to legally work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Applicable military experience will be considered.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
