We are looking for an independent experienced Warehouse Supervisor to come join our team in Hogansville Georgia. This role will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that loads are shipped on time and correctly. This position will develop and train hourly associates to drive efficiency and productivity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *

• Responsible for directing and overseeing warehouse functions.
• Manage finished goods and ingredients.
• Oversee the check-in and unloading of incoming shipments.
• Assist QA department in checking quality attribute data of all ingredients and packaging to ensure product specification, quality and food safety requirements are met.
• Manage all aspects of the order fulfillment process.
• Ensure rotation (FIFO) organize and stock ingredients and packaging in appropriate locations.
• Ensure loads are shipped on time and correctly.
• All shipping documentation is correct and complete.
• Preparing small parcel shipments for UPS
• Responsible for the strategic planning of the warehouse department to include inspections, proper storage, proper inventory and tracking of finished goods as well as supplies.
• Ensure warehouse is organized and maintained and kept clean.
• Effectively supervise warehouse team.
• Any safety or machinery issues must be brought to the attention of the leadership.
• Responsible for pulling, processing, and shipping customer orders according to schedule.
• Manage the outbound shipping schedule
• Communicate with Transportation group
• Prepare orders for shipments and arrange customer orders as directed or as needed.
• Perform general warehouse duties including but not limited to pulling orders.
• Ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications*:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years food warehouse distribution experience and two years’ experience managing an hourly workforce.

• Strong food warehouse/distribution background. Ability to interface with a diverse workforce. Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word.
• A background in WMS and SAP.

• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Forklift experience highly desired.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
