Curinos is looking for a VP of SaaS Operations who will work side by side with Devops, IT and Engineering teams to build and lead a world class SaaS Operations & SRE team. This role will have the below responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing SRE best practices and processes
• Managing a team of SREs and Production Ops engineers and ensuring the team has necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively
• Reviewing and collaborating with DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure that new services are designed with reliability in mind
• Influencing DevOps architecture to ensuring security and reliability
• Ensuring the security of systems and data through the implementation of appropriate technologies and processes
• Ensure separation of responsibilities to adhere to SOC 2 compliance without impacting engineering agility
• Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Production environment
• Identifying and mitigating potential production incidents and outages
• Developing and monitoring platform services level agreements (SLAs) and service level objectives (SLOs)
• Production System Monitoring and Alerting (i.e. performance degradation, security threat etc.)
• Cloud Cost Containment
• Technical Client Onboarding (along with Client Services)
• Production landscape planning and optimization
• Leverage RPA like tools to eliminate human touchpoints in Production Support
• Install, Update, Upgrade, Patch all Prod Systems

Candidates should have the following background, skills, and characteristics:

• Intellectual curiosity and innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving and working independently or immersed within teams with no boundaries
• 10+ of experience managing SaaS Ops & DevOps teams
• Demonstrated expertise ensuring site reliability
• Thorough understanding and prior expertise with AWS and other cloud services
• Migrated teams to utilize Infrastructure as Code methodology and enforce best practices
• Very thorough understanding of SDLC and worked in a product development company supporting the development and deployment of SaaS applications
• Familiarity of RDS, Redshift, EMR, Cloudera, Kubernetes, Spark etc.
• Deep understanding of cloud-scale and micro/macro-services architectures, experience in operating high performance, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant multi-tenant SaaS based applications.
• Experience working with configuration management systems and deployment automation
• Excellent business communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required

The salary range for this role 185K to 205K.
