Main Street Renewal, LLC is hiring for a VP of National Maintenance to drive the implementation of processes, best practices, and technology across our national portfolio. In this role you will use your Subject Matter Expertise to influence and take ownership of driving consistency in the execution of our policies and procedures for all branch customer service initiatives.

The primary business lines includes a rapidly growing, vertically integrated platform designed to enable scale investment into Single-Family Rental homes. The name of the property manager is Main Street Renewal (“MSR”). Together with MSR, the firm delivers customized, stabilized cash-flowing portfolios of assets to its investors, wrapped in all the ongoing services required to manage, own, and finance the asset including property management, portfolio management, and a full capital markets team. Over the past decade, Amherst has scaled its platform to become one of the largest operators of single-family rental (SFR) assets and has acquired, renovated and leased more than [42,000] homes across 30 markets in the U.S.
MSR strives to create efficiency throughout the process with the goal of creating constructive and professional relationships with owners of single family real estate, our residents and the communities where the properties reside.

Essential Functions

Prepares and oversees maintenance budget for the national platform including measuring actual data against budgets and KPIs

Regional partnership with specific field teams to ensure KPI management and process, policy and procedure are in tact

Leads and implements new technology to service an expedited and optimal resident maintenance experience

Reviews and analyzes department data, including financial, productivity-related, performance, and work-order data relating to maintenance programs and operations regularly.

Establishes and maintains preventative maintenance procedures

Provides leadership to build and maintain strong teams through effective communications and development measures

Provides continuous improvements in productivity, quality, and the efficiency of all maintenance operations

Regularly consults with executive staff on operation and customer service needs

In partnership with supply chain and vendor management, key leader in negotiating pricing with third party vendors

Creates training plans for Maintenance staff

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
10+ years’ experience in the areas of construction, residential maintenance, plumbing, flooring, drywall repairs, painting, basic electrical maintenance, etc.

Some degree of corporate oversight and strategy preferred (not only field operations) and demonstrated ability to join a scaling organization

B.S. degree in facilities management or related subject is preferred

5+ years in the HVAC or Plumbing field are a plus

7+ years managing a team of 10+ teammates are a plus

HS Diploma is required

Work experience in single-family properties is preferred but not required

Relevant industry certifications are a plus

Proficiency with Yardi Property Management or Salesforce Software

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)

Strong verbal communication/negotiation skills
