Our coaching platform matches you with subscribers focused on sustaining their weight goals and improving their overall health, so you can spend more time coaching and less time marketing.

Able provides a science-backed, comprehensive program that is focused on personalization, biology and lifestyle and supported by 1-on-1 coaching to help users achieve lasting weight goals and optimal metabolic health.

By providing this coaching and a personalized program that takes into account nutrition, sleep, hydration, movement, emotions and medication as appropriate, Able helps clients reach their happy weight and maintain it while improving their overall health and confidence.

So let’s talk about you. You have the desire and motivation to inspire others at every step of their health and wellness journeys. You advocate for a holistic approach to health and lifestyle and are knowledgeable in the pillars of health including sleep, stress/stress management, foods/eating, hydration, consistent physical movement and positive relationships. You strive to build rapport, are an excellent listener, and empathetic to the challenges around habit change. Your primary goal will be to keep your subscribers engaged with you and using the app to help support them to reach their goals. We have a proprietary coaching and subscriber platform that allows for various different formats to suit our subscribers - face to face calls, voice calls, voice messaging and text chat messaging.

Please note:

For this role, we adopt a continuous recruitment process. Once you are successfully selected, you will join our pool of coaches and the onboarding will start as soon as we have enough clients to assign to you.

What you’ll do

  • Establish rapport with an ongoing relationship to subscribers and offer support and guidance in developing personalized and measurable health goals and plans;

  • Work a flexible schedule based on your subscriber needs & schedules;

  • Utilize Able’s variable coaching formats to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each subscriber;

  • Respond to subscriber health-related queries in an ethical and caring way;

  • Communicate clearly and with confidence in a one-on-one situation;

  • Assist subscribers in their health journey by facilitating lifestyle modifications around Able’s holistic pillars of health and not focusing on calorie counting;

  • Assist subscribers with their whole-food meal plans if dietary needs/wants to require healthier swaptions;

  • Guide subscribers through the main features of the app and encourage them to use it more;

  • Ensure you follow the coaching code of conduct, policies, and procedures and strive for retention;

  • Stay informed on the latest nutrition and health techniques and methods.

About you

  • Have related wellness experience and training (nutrition education, sports medicine, personal coaching, coaching diploma from a nationally recognized accredited program (i.e. National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching, UKHCA, etc.);

  • Empathetic and compassionate attitude towards subscribers who may be sensitive, vulnerable, or concerned about their weight and lifestyle;

  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills;

  • Confident, professional communicator with excellent written/verbal digital skills and a motivating attitude;

  • Reliable internet connection and Macbook (with minimum M1 chip) or iPad

  • Excellent command of the English language - Must be Proficient and at first language level;

  • You must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application. The proof will be required to support your application.

  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing tech environment where new features occur frequently. We’re all about making everything better!

Nice to have

  • Having worked in the past in the health and fitness-related area is an advantage;

  • Telehealth experience;

  • Having worked in the past in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
