This role will be responsible to lead and build the franchise development team and execute the strategy. They will recruit the highest caliber of franchise candidates. Over time, direct reports could include Development Directors and Sales Coordinators Key performance indicators of this role include- lead volume, diversity of lead sources, candidate pool and licenses signed. This role reports to the SVP of Growth and Development. Responsibilities · Analyze current lead flow and sources and recommend and implement methods for increasing lead volume through all available channels.· Build/Improve an innovative and effective franchise sales process, with focusing on creating a personalized and unique experience for candidates as they learn more about Ellie.· Build on/Improve the company’s discovery process, content creation, and Discovery Day (including the preparation and execution of the actual Discovery Day. Create an innovative and creative way to capture relevant information on candidates (bio) early in the process to ensure they are a fit (and that we are for them).· Identify, attract and sign professionally and financially qualified franchise owners· Lead candidates through the entire sales process (from introduction to agreement signing) and in time build a team of Development Directors.· Partner with our leadership & legal team, and assure timely and accurate compliance with all applicable state and federal franchise disclosure laws and regulations, and the timely issuance and execution of franchise agreements and other contracts as required· Collaborate with members of sales, legal, and operations teams to assure approved franchisees complete the sales and development process and open successfully in a timely manner· Ensure compliance with all corporate procedures and legal guidelines relative to the sale· Attend appropriate events dedicated to sourcing franchise candidates for various strategic markets· Attend Franchise Industry events to maintain and strengthen “broker” network relationships· Infuse Ellie Values into the entire process Qualifications · At least 5 years of franchise development experience with a record of overseeing sales of over 40/year.· History of leadership and coachability· 2+ years of People Leadership Experience· Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with established C-level executives, managers, and departments operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment· History of success building successful programs for scratch· Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
