We are seeking veterinary technicians with technician experience to join our team at Rancocas Veterinary Associates!
Rancocas Veterinary Associates is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The professional and courteous staff at RVA seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care, and dental care for their highly-valued patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.

NO WEEKEND HOURS!
Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Our ideal Veterinary Technician candidate is positive, friendly, and eager to support a team of talented individuals. This person should be familiar with performing routine treatments and procedures, with the interest in learning more advanced procedures from our dedicated staff.
Considered candidates must have prior experience and confidence in assisting the veterinarian.

A typical day of a Veterinarian Technician may include:

· Assisting the Veterinarian in procedures (medical, surgical, dental)

· Monitoring patients during surgery and recovery

· radiography

· phlebotomy

· nursing care

· client education and communication

· laboratory skills

Requirements: Above all, you love pets! Credentialed candidates are a plus, but not required – veterinary technician students welcome!

We also require a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of veterinary field

All employees must be able to lift 50 pounds, as well as stand/walk/kneel for long periods of time. The ability to safely restrain dogs and cats is a must.
