VCA SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center is a large practice located outside Washington DC that values a healthy learning environment with great opportunities!

We currently have several openings for skilled veterinary assistants to work in our very busy emergency department, including overnight (7pm-8am) and weekend shifts.
Our starting salary is $19.25/hour, or higher depending on experience. The overnight and weekend shifts include shift differentials that adds to your hourly rate and boosts your paycheck!
Successful candidates are able to multitask, comfortable communicating with clients and believe in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and outstanding patient care – and demonstrate the desire to make them happen.
