About the role:

We're hiring experienced Vertical Farm Operations Managers to oversee rapidly expanding vertical farm systems. As a Vertical Farm Operations Manager, you will leverage your experience managing greenhouses or indoor grow environments to ensure efficient operation of large scale vertical farms. You will be responsible for managing and owning plant, people, safety, and production outcomes and will work closely with cross functional teams spanning farm operations, business and engineering. In addition to managing vertical farms, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard operating procedures to be deployed across a global network of Oishii facilities.

What you'll do:

• Manage all aspects of operating large scale indoor vertical farms, from hiring to distribution
• Advise on best practices for indoor vertical farm operations for continuous improvement and integration into new farm facilities
• Coordinate cross-functionally with business, R&D, and operations staff to ensure that all critical elements of managing a farm are aligned and integrated
• Interface with headquarters staff to report on all aspects of your farm facility
• Be responsible for everything that happens or fails to happen in your facility

Who you are:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing indoor vertical farms or greenhouse operations; experience with strawberries preferred
• BS in relevant field (operations, engineering, plant science)
• Passionate about indoor vertical farming
• Strong communicator capable of coordinating with cross functional teams
• High ownership mindset and outcome oriented
• Experienced manager capable of overseeing large scale operations
