No experience is required with paid training starting at $23.50/hr and a company vehicle provided. We are conducting electric meter upgrades in Denver, Colorado area for Xcel Energy and are hiring Electric Meter Installers. Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and able to pass background and drug screen.
After the initial classroom training and field training totaling four weeks paid at $23.50/hr, employees will be transitioned to being paid on a piece work basis which allows most of our employees to earn in excess of $25/hr. A typical electrical install will take approximately 10 minutes and the piece work pay for installing 6 meters per hour will result in earnings in excess of $1,100 a week!
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm; occassional voluntary overtime on Fridays
