Job description

We are looking for several Armed Security Officers to join our traveling team. This position would require traveling to the assigned location (any state within our property portfoilo) for one month interval assignments and location could change with each assignment. Work is per-diem based on an hourly rate of $17-19 per hour. During the length of the assignment, complimentary housing will be provided in shared units on-site. In addition, this position includes a daily meal allowance. Shifts will be 8-10 hours each day for 5-6 days per week with 2 security officers on duty per shift. This work is considered temporary, as continued assignments beyond each one-month interval are on an as-needed basis.

Armed Security Officer Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrol an area for any safety or security risks
• Carry a weapon for de-escalation and defensive purposes
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and the items within
• Respond to and investigate reported incidents as necessary
• Monitor a closed-circuit television for potential issues
• Maintain a log of any activities
• Document any visitors to the property
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary

Armed Security Officer Requirements and Qualifications

• Armed Security Certification
• PA Concealed Carry Permit
• Law enforcement or military experience strongly preferred
• Veteran status is a plus
• CPR certification is a plus
• Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work overnight, on weekends, and on holidays
• Observational and communication skills

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
