Trailer Mechanic - Kirk NationaLease is a privately owned, full-service truck leasing and maintenance company that provides long-term leases for trucks, tractors and trailers servicing fleets in the Northeastern Midwest region of the US for over 50 YEARS! We currently operate 25 shops in 10 states.
Our Huber Heights, OH shop is growing to take care of an existing customer. Because of this growth, we are looking for an EXPERIENCED TRAILER MECHANIC to add to our staff. If you have experience and want to be part of the future of Kirk, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting repairs such as repair of damaged trailers including floors, roofs, walls, supports, and must be willing to learn brakes, electrical, performing PMs, tire services… Welding experience preferred.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have hands on Trailer mechanic experience
- Must be able to diagnose and repair trailers
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently
- Must have your own tools (Specialty tools may be supplied by Shop)
- Must have a VALID/CLEAN driver’s license required for test drives and parts runs
- Must be able to work in the elements
